We are now close to the Vaccine Passport, i.e. a digital proof that a person has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, received a negative test result or recovered from COVID-19.

Several states are committed to completing the ambitious Covid-19 Vaccine Passport project by summer 2021. IATA is working on the IATA Travel Pass Application. It is a global and standardized solution to validate and authenticate all country regulations regarding COVID-19 passenger travel requirements.

There are several Airlines trialling the IATA Travel Pass. For more details, see at https://www.iata.org/en/programs/safety/health/ and watch the IATA Travel Pass video.

The IATA Travel Pass App can only be used if your airline is part of the Travel Pass program. Instructions to use the App will be provided by participating airlines after you have purchased your ticket. It’s available for free download on Google Play and App store
